While dissecting these three pieces I will begin with Ambrogio Lorenzettis and his piece, Peaceful City (1339). Pietro Lorenzettis younger brother, Ambrogio Lorenzetti actively varicolored from 1317 to 1348. Peaceful city, although not completely accurate with the laws of perspective, gives a push around example on how perspective began to come to life.
